Yes “Nothing was better than some things” is an out-of-this-world line, Erin. Your descriptions were horrifically vivid and I could feel the building panic waiting for the wheel to stop spinning. A life of emptiness really sucks. Brilliant!

What a wierd and wonderful story, Erin. The descriptions, especially in the second paragraph were great! I like that you leave the final tent to the imagination, that even the emptiness was preferable to the tent’s contents.

The Wheel Of Fate - I loved this. The spiders were way more horrifying than the what the wheel had to offer. At the end when she was running into the white space and she saw something in the distance…I had his immediate fear that it was the spiders. So glad it wasn’t.

Your dialogue is fantastic in this story and you created such great tone of doom. Excellent work, Erin.
