Really nice story Laura, you manage to pack a whole lot of plot into very few words. Compelling, vividly described and a nice twist in the tail. Well done

Nice twist. I llke the ending.

Just a small note, I found the part where you explained about the history of consciousness swapping a bit…I dunno, sudden? It felt a little forced and info dumpish, but otherwise I was completely enthralled. This feels like it could be part of a bigger story. Great job.
